General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Friday, January 5, reveals that Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) got some help from Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), so they cleaned out Bobbie Spencer’s (Jacklyn Zeman) office together and reminisced.

When Felicia got a phone call and mentioned that the results were ready, Anna wondered what that was about. Felicia said it was about the living in reference to their earlier conversation about what Bobbie would want them to embrace.

At Deception, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) comforted Maxie Jones (Kristen Storms), who filled him in on her history with Bobbie and how she received B.J. Jones’ (Brightfon Hertford) heart.

Maxie eventually talked to Cody about finding his sense of purpose, so Felicia showed up and suggested he could start with honesty.

That led to Felicia admitting she ran a new DNA test behind Cody’s back.

At Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) penthouse, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) arrived and talked to her about Bobbie’s demise.

Drew also alluded to some news that Sam could call Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) for since he’d rather not get into it right now.

As for why Drew really came over, he admitted he wanted to take Scout Cain (Cosette Abinate) to pick up her new uniform.

Sam revealed that Scout wouldn’t be going to Westwood Academy and offered updates on Scout’s nightmares.

Drew was upset over Sam making a unilateral decision, but Sam said Drew did the same thing when he pitched the idea to Scout without telling her first.

Although Drew assumed Sam was getting back at him, she denied it and put the focus on Scout’s well-being.

Drew ranted about Sam getting the final word on their daughter, but he eventually softened and was apologetic over picking a fight.

That led to Drew admitting the drama with Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros), so Sam understood that he was mostly riled up about that.

Drew hated that Scout didn’t feel like she could be honest with him, but Sam downplayed it and agreed they could revisit the idea of Westwood Academy later if Scout wanted.

After crashing at Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) place last night, Nina left Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) a voicemail and begged her to call back. Nina didn’t really expect that Willow would, but Sasha urged her to give Willow some time.

Although Nina beat herself up for making herself public enemy number one again, Sasha insisted Nina still had friends and believed forgiveness was possible.

Nina hoped that maybe Sasha was right when it came to Willow, but she didn’t believe Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) could get past what she’d done.

At GH, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) woke up and wasn’t cooperating with Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) investigation, so Dante sent Laura Collins (Genie Francis) to quiz him about who was to blame for the attack.

Cyrus told Laura that he was beaten by Sonny, but she was skeptical since it wasn’t really Sonny’s style to settle his own scores.

However, Cyrus hinted about being privy to something in Sonny’s marriage that he didn’t know and acted like Sonny took his frustration out on him.

Laura felt like Cyrus was holding back a lot of information, but he insisted that Sonny was no better than the man he used to be.

At Sonny’s place, Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) paid him a visit and apologized for blowing up his life, but he appreciated the fact that she told him the truth.

When Lois saw some packed suitcases, Sonny confirmed that they were Nina’s. Sonny said Nina could stay at her hotel “for now,” so Lois asked if that meant he wasn’t done with her for good.

Lois also noticed Sonny was still wearing his wedding ring, but he said he fell in love with a traitor who went against his family for months and lied to him.

That wasn’t something Sonny could just forgive and forget.

Sonny talked about Nina crossing too many lines, so Lois wondered how he could ever trust Nina again. At the same time, Lois knew that love didn’t disappear overnight.

Since Sonny’s knuckles were injured, Lois told him to go get some rubbing alcohol so she could help him.

While Sonny was in the other room, Dante showed up. Lois said Sonny had a really rough morning and would be glad to see Dante, but Dante didn’t think that was true today.

Once Sonny returned, Dante brought another officer in and had him arrest Sonny for the second-degree assault of Cyrus Renault. Sonny was put in handcuffs as Friday’s episode wrapped up.

General Hospital spoilers say Sonny will have a tight spot to get out of, but Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) will come to his rescue soon enough.
