“Could Charlotte’s Shooting Lead to the Demise of ‘Vanna’?”

GH spoilers have fans on the edge of their seats, dying to find out what Anna shooting Charlotte means for the very popular Anna and Valentin pairing. What’s coming up for the couple known as ‘Vanna?’

General Hospital: Over the Hump

On the one hand, Valentin’s (James Patrick Stuart) secrecy is what led to this tragedy. On the other, Anna once swore she’d understand anything he did for his daughter. On the third, tempers are running high, so anyone might say anything at any moment that they’ll never be able to take back.

There is plenty of blame to go around here, and once they both calm down and Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) is out of the woods, Anna (Finola Hughes) and Valentin will be able to talk it out and reconcile, same as they always do.

Of course, there is always the possibility that Valentin won’t be able to forgive Anna. It doesn’t matter what Charlotte did. It doesn’t matter that Valentin enabled her by covering it up. The only thing that will matter to him is that his precious, innocent angel got plugged by the woman Valentin once loved. And now Anna will pay.

Over and Out

Even if Anna and Valentin can move past this, things will never be the same again. Valentin will always look at Anna and see the woman who might have killed his daughter. And Anna will look at Valentin and see the man who was willing to let her suffer for weeks, wondering who might be out to get her — and, by extension, those she loved. They will try to say all the right things. It won’t work.

But, in the end, even if Valentin agrees to forgive and forget, Anna won’t be able to. She trusted Valentin and he betrayed her. She was always worried this might happen. Now it has. So they are over.
