The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) may soon see an opening to getting back the woman he wants. Perhaps Liam will find a new path to a Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) reunion and take full advantage of it.
At the moment, some conflict is creeping in for Steffy and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan).
Finn is growing increasingly concerned over how dangerous Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) is, but Steffy is always going to love and defend her brother.
Of course, B&B spoilers say things could get tricky when it comes to Liam since he hates Thomas and always will.
However, Liam might be smart enough to keep his negative Thomas opinions to himself in this particular situation.
If Liam ends up in a position where he can comfort Steffy over her marriage problems, it’ll behoove him to refrain from trashing Thomas.
It’s not like Xander Avant (Adain Bradley) said anything that Liam didn’t believe already, so there isn’t really new information here from Liam’s perspective.
If Liam finds Steffy upset after a fight with Finn at some point, perhaps he’ll hold his tongue when it comes to Thomas and comfort her.
Liam may acknowledge his history with Thomas, but he might also suggest that’s not what’s important right now. Maybe Liam will insist on putting his own past with Thomas aside so he can focus on Steffy.
Could that be exactly what Steffy needs to hear in that moment? Could it lead to Steffy betraying Finn with Liam and indeed give Liam an opening to win her back?
Liam certainly hasn’t given up on the idea of reuniting with Steffy, but that may require some sacrifices and a willingness to keep his mouth shut about his disdain for Thomas.
Liam can’t trash Thomas if he wants to take advantage of this Finn and Steffy rift, so he has to be careful about how he plays this.
