“Emotional Rollercoaster: Carly and Sam Face Drew’s Crisis in GH’s Upcoming Weeks”
General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the next two weeks, January 15 to January 26, reveal that Ava Jerome (Maura West) will have a reason to blow her top – and it’ll most likely be due to Esme Prince’s (Avery Pohl) freedom.
During the week of January 15-19, it looks like Esme will get by with minimal consequences despite Ava’s decision to take her to court over the break-in.
However, a terrible curveball may be in Esme’s future.
After Nikolas Cassadine’s (Adam Huss) faceoff with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez), he’ll take matters into his own hands when it comes to Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) safety.
Esme will find herself in panic mode later, so she could be the result of a new kidnapping crisis.
If Nikolas makes a getaway with Ace, that could bring some dreadful déjà vu for Esme as her son goes missing again.
Esme will ultimately turn to someone shocking for help, so that means it won’t be someone predictable like Heather Webber (Alley Mills).
Perhaps Esme will seek Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) assistance and hope he’ll use his resources to help her track down Spencer’s little brother.
Whatever the case, viewers will see an extremely desperate Esme – and that could make her dangerous depending on how all this plays out.
As for Spencer, he’ll make an admission to Laura Collins (Genie Francis), so he may reveal Nikolas’ visit and confess to giving his father the opportunity to steal him.
Spencer may regret turning his back on Ace even for a moment if Nikolas indeed bolts with his youngest son.
Meanwhile, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will help Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) deal with more malpractice suit drama, but they’ll uncover a new clue that could help him keep his career intact.
Over with Josslyn Jacks (temporarily played by Courtney Fulk), she’ll find Adam Wright (Joshua Benard) in a dangerous situation and feel responsible for causing him to spin out.
Josslyn will step up for Adam in what could be a life-threatening crisis, but she’ll still battle guilt afterward.
That’ll lead to Josslyn leaning on Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and eventually Dex Heller (Evan Hofer).
Of course, Dex will have some other drama to contend with first since Sonny sent him on a mission to eliminate Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) at GH.
While Dex waits on Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) to leave Cyrus’ room, she’ll negotiate a deal that could keep Sonny out of prison.
Across town, Sonny will realize he doesn’t want to take Cyrus out permanently after all, but he’ll struggle to get Dex on the phone to let him know.
No matter how things turn out at the hospital, Nina will have some stunning news to share. That could involve Nina telling Sonny about Cyrus’ priest trick and how she didn’t confide in him by choice.
Next, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will have a showdown with Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth), so that may relate to the voting proxy on half of Michael’s shares.
Michael signed that over to Ned with the assurance that he’d have Ned’s silence regarding Nina’s SEC snitching.
Now that the secret has blown up, Michael may insist the deal is off. Ned, on the other hand, may point out that he’s not the one who blabbed, so it’s not his problem!
Michael will have to get ready for another challenge later, so he’ll mentally prepare for it. That may be about Michael coming clean to Carly since he hid Nina’s SEC informant role for so long.
As for Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), he’ll continue to comfort Carly as she grieves for Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman).
Drew will also get some support from Carly since he’s been facing some co-parenting struggles with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco).
Later, Sam and Carly will compare notes when it comes to all the changes they’ve seen in Drew’s character lately.
It turns out Drew will make a major career decision as well, so he may take some risks that the old Drew wouldn’t normally take.
Elsewhere, TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) will have important info for Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper), so she may get updates on Curtis Ashford’ (Donnell Turner) procedure and how his recovery is going.
An unexpected visitor is also headed Kristina Corinthos-Davis’ (Kate Mansi) way, so could Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) show up with romantic surprise or could this involve Nina seeking help instead?
Kristina was previously a big supporter of Sonny and Nina’s relationship, so Nina may seek Kristina’s assistance when it comes to fixing her marriage.
During the week of January 22-26, we could see a few new challenges in Blaze and Kristina’s budding romance. There’s definitely a strong connection here, but Blaze isn’t out to her family or the public.
That’s going to complicate things and make Kristina feel like a dirty little secret, so that’ll make it tough to navigate her relationship with Blaze.
Kristina has also agreed to be the surrogate and egg donor for TJ and Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos), so there’ll be more complex steps on that journey, too.
At some point in early 2024, Nina and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) are going to do some commiserating.
It’ll lead to Valentin and Nina scheming together, so they’ll bring out some of each other’s worst traits and perhaps make a bigger mess.
Finally, Michael and Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) will have to figure out where things stand in their marriage. Can Willow move beyond Michael’s deception and learn to build a new sense of trust in their relationship?
Even Willow’s been guilty of keeping secrets in the past, so there are some honesty issues that need to be addressed on both sides.
It’s going to take time and patience to repair things, but Michael will hope he can get his marriage to Willow back on track.
General Hospital spoilers say the next two weeks will bring some shockers and shakeups, so stay tuned.
