“In Case You Missed It: B&B Thursday Recap – Eric’s Life Hangs in the Balance, Ridge Takes a Risk!”

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Thursday, December 14, reveals that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) all pressured Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) to give Eric Forrester (John McCook) a chance.

Since Eric’s eyes fluttered right before John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) was set to turn off life support, Steffy and the others took that as a sign that Eric wanted to stick around.

Ridge rubbed his face and finally told Finn to go ahead with the procedure, so Finn said he’d prep the OR.

As Ridge moved closer to Eric, he said he was sorry and asked his dad to forgive him.

Once Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones) and Thorne Forrester (Winsor Harmon) arrived, they learned from a hospital employee that Eric was being placed in comfort care.

However, there were updates on Eric being wheeled into surgery soon after, so Thorne pushed for answers while Bridget joined Finn in the OR.

When Thorne found out Ridge tried to pull the plug on Eric, he flew into a rage.

Thorne pointed out that when Eric gave Ridge medical power of attorney, he did it under the assumption that his condition wasn’t treatable.

Now that Ridge had allowed the procedure, he worried Eric could end up plugged in machines for the rest of his days.

Thorne argued this treatment could be a blessing and couldn’t believe Ridge had previously been willing to let Eric go without allowing all his siblings to say goodbye.

Ridge argued that Eric might pass away on that operating table anyway and hoped Eric would come out of this the same man.

Regardless, Ridge knew he had to live with the choice he made and worried about Eric’s quality of life.

In the operating room, Bridget thanked Finn for allowing her to be there.

Finn promised he’d do everything he could to save Eric’s life and expressed hope to his team that they could create a miracle.

While Finn worked on Eric, he explained some of the details to Bridget. The procedure went well until Bridget suddenly said something was wrong.

Finn realized Eric was hemorrhaging and that his vitals were dropping, so he worked frantically to save his patient with an assist from Bridget.

It was a scary situation as Bridget insisted she couldn’t lose her father!

At Forrester Creations, RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) told Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park) more about Eric, so she held out hope that she could meet him one day – especially since he’d been so kind to Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada).

After Poppy left on Thursday’s B&B episode, Luna comforted RJ and gave him a kiss.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Eric’s loved ones will get news on his surgery outcome soon, so stay tuned.
