‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers suggest that Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) should have more of a story.
Dante and Sam make a stable, loving couple on GH. They have their sweet little blended family and are enjoying their relationship. However, many fans complain that they are boring and have no chemistry.
This situation couldn’t be further from the truth.

Dante and Sam need their own story. They were a massive help to Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) and Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) when they were trying to get the goods on Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) and Dr. Montague (Darin Toonder). Sam helped Cody break Sasha out of Ferncliff.
It was great to see Dante and Sam work as a team for the greater good. It is what some of GH’s most memorable couples have done throughout the show’s history.
Luke Spencer (Tony Geary) and Laura Collins (Genire Francis) saved humankind from Mikkos Cassadines’ ridiculous plot to end the world by employing a diamond called the Ice Princess to manufacture power to a weather instrument to freeze the world. ‘
Felicia Cummings (Kristina Wagner) and Frisco Jones (Jack Wagner) had so many adventures together that it would be too silly to count. In addition, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) always have the mob to keep them busy.
Sam has always been an exciting character, up for adventure and intrigue around every corner. She is a former con artist and private investigator. Dante is a straight shooter and a stand-up guy who happens to be a cop.
These two have the makings of a super couple, but they need a storyline that revolves around their romance. Let them have an adventure of their own, or infuse more drama into their relationship.
The point is that this couple has more stories to be told. Dante and Sam shouldn’t have been stuck in the same place for this long, but they have yet to have a storyline just for them.

GH spoilers tease that Dante may propose to Sam very soon, and she will say yes. It has been building up to this for a long time.
However, if the rumors that Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) will wake up from her three-year-long coma are true, it would raise the stakes for Dante and Sam, and viewers would get the storyline they have been clamoring for.
Before that happens, GH needs to give “Sante” the opportunity to shine. Adding more interest to their relationship would certainly make it interesting if Lulu were to return.
Dante and Sam deserve more of a storyline now so that fans have good reason to want to root for either Dante and Lulu or Dante and Sam.
The main issue is that it was Dante with Lulu and Jason with Sam for years on the show. The characters already have a giant following with other people.
Many soap fans cannot handle change, especially when it comes to breaking up an already well-established super couple.
Dominic Zamprogna and Kelly Monaco know how to work a meaty storyline with compelling material. GH needs to give them a fighting chance.
