The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Friday, October 27, reveals that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) blamed Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) for jinxing him when a last minute problem arose with a dress.

However, Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) offered a quick fix with some assistance from Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) and admitted that Eric Forrester (John McCook) taught him the trick.

Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) could tell that Ridge was dealing with more than pre-show jitters, so he hinted about being conflicted since he was going up against Eric.

Nevertheless, Ridge was determined to pull off a win for the good of the company. Brooke gave Ridge a kiss for luck once Carter said it was showtime.

Meanwhile, Eric was excited about the show and felt there was an added layer of anticipation due to his competition with Ridge.

Despite what Dr. Colin Colby (Justiin Davis) told him, Eric had never felt more alive.

After Eric decided to hang back and watch the show from behind the scenes, Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) offered to do the same.

Eric insisted Donna should go out there with the others and enjoy the beauty of it all instead.

Ridge stole a moment alone with Eric backstage at one point, so he asked if his dad was going to watch his defeat from back there.

Eric remained confident in his upcoming victory, but he coughed and struggled to steady himself once he was alone.

Next on Friday’s B&B episode, Luna Nozawa (Lisa LoCicero) noticed RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) was distracted and flustered, so she asked if he was OK.

RJ once again confided in Luna and admitted that Eric was dying, so she gave him plenty of support.

In the area set up for the fashion show, French singer Fanny Greyson (Elsa Esnoult) arrived with her golden ticket and was eager to see the lovely designs.

Countess Von Frankfurt (Marie Osmond) greeted Brooke and met Fanny before Esther Valentine (Kate Linder) made a clumsy entrance with Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman).

Esther couldn’t believe she was in the Forrester showroom, but Countess Von Frankfurt told her to close her mouth so she wouldn’t catch any flies.

After Esther started talking about hot dogs, Countess Von Frankfurt clarified that her name had nothing to do with frankfurters.

Esther thought it was an honest mistake and bet it probably happened all the time.

Countess Von Frankfurt asked who this “simple creature” was and demanded to know what she was doing at a Forrester fashion show, so Lauren said she was the one and only Esther Valentine!

Once Charlie Webber (Dick Christie) flirted with Esther again, she pulled out a wad of money she’d been saving for her perfect Forrester original.

Lauren advised her to put the cash away before Charlie assured Esther that she’d find the gown of her dreams.

Soon after, Katie Logan (Heather Tom) kicked off the event with introductions to all Forrester team players and expressed gratitude to everyone who’d flown in for the fashion show.

Katie explained that the guests would write down the numbers of the dresses they liked best, but they wouldn’t know which designs were from Eric and which were from Ridge.

After Katie played up the mystery of it all, she acknowledged that it was unusual and suggested that they’d always broken the mold at Forrester Creations.

Katie also talked about how the guests would see designs from two schools of thought and eventually introduced a model wearing an elegant black dress.

Donna whispered about it being pure class – just like her honey bear!

Another model came out wearing dress number two, which was red and modern. It was clearly Ridge’s work since he went for more daring and innovative.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say the fashion show will heat up with some other stunning looks, so stay tuned for up
