“A Day in Los Angeles: Recap of Finn’s Confrontation with Liam in B&B”
In The Bold and the Beautiful recap for October 20, 2023, Finn told Liam all about himself. Not one lie was told, and none of it was complimentary.

In addition, Thomas promised to be there for Hope’s “what ifs,” and Sheila refused to lower herself to Li’s level. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into what exactly happened.
B&B Recap: Ex-Factor
Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) was surprised by Liam’s (Scott Clifton) sudden appearance in the design office, more so by his ranting and raving against Finn (Tanner Novlan), and even more so by his pointed statement of wanting Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) back in Los Angeles.
Now, Thomas could agree with Liam on one point. Yes, Finn has made mistakes as far as Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) is concerned. However, Finn is still Steffy’s husband. A husband that she loves very, very much. And as for Liam’s huffing that he could protect Steffy better than Finn and that Finn wasn’t acting like a real husband? Who was it that ran away from his marriage the minute things got tough? LIAM, that’s who.
Hardly chastened, Liam made a beeline for Finn’s office barely missing Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), who’d come to find out whether or not Finn had told Steffy about Sheila and Deacon (Sean Kanan). No, no, he had not.
Liam took great exception to learning of that fact himself. What was Finn thinking? Also, what did Finn intend to do about the whole situation? Finn took offense to Liam’s offense and took his rival to task for questioning his love and commitment to Steffy given all the years he (Liam) spent waffling between Steffy and Hope (Annika Noelle).
“I know what you’re doing,” warned Finn, who continued, “It’s disrespectful to me. And it’s disrespectful to Steffy. It’s a scumbag move. Stay out of my business. And stay the Hell away from my wife.”
But did Liam listen? Perish the thought! Instead, he called Steffy up and left her a most interesting voicemail — one that ratted out Deacon and Sheila’s affair, how her husband was keeping it from her, and concluded with him complaining that Finn would never be able to protect her the way that he can. “We were married once, we can do it again” Liam creepily explained to the photo of his ex after hanging up.
The Bold and the Beautiful Recap: Zero Self-respect
Having tried and failed to convince Deacon that his attempts to rehabilitate Sheila were futile, Hope returned to Forrester Creations and Thomas’s comforting embrace.
Try as she might, she still couldn’t return Thomas’s declarations of love. In fact, she might never be able to do so. After Liam, she might not ever be able to connect with another man on that intimate level. But Thomas didn’t care. He’d be there for her. Always. How comforting!
B&B Recap: Joke’s On Li
Despite eyeing a set of knives perfect for stabbing, Sheila kept her cool. No way she was going to lose it and do something rash that would land her back in prison. She’s not stupid. All things that Li (Naomi Matsuda) didn’t want to hear. Oh well, there’s always tomorrow.
