Does this mean she’s on to Michael Corinthos’s blackmailing ways?
General Hospital spoilers for January 3, 2024, involve confessions, suspicion, and surprises. But also look for Drew to provide comfort for Carly in her time of need. Do not miss what’s sure to be an emotional episode.
General Hospital Spoilers Highlights
For the last few months, Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) has been in the dark when it comes to her husband and her mom’s backstabbing and blackmail business. Obviously, she’s had no clue that her newly uncovered bio mom was the one who blew the lid on Carly (Laura Wright) and Drew (Cameron Mathison). Clearly, she was unaware Michael (Chad Duell) found out about said whistleblowing and used it to his advantage. It’s why Nina (Cynthia Watros) hasn’t been that present in Willow and Wiley’s (Viron Weaver) lives.
Hold up — are Willow and Michael about to have words? Because the nurse now knows that Michael knew the truth and she questions his ulterior motives. She knows what Nina did and she may realize why Nina’s been absent and distracted from Willow and Wiley’s lives as of late. If this is the case, simply sit back, grab the popcorn, and let the madness ensue.
More Connecting of the Proverbial Dots
Lois (Rena Sofer) couldn’t hold back (read up on Lois deducing why Ned is innocent). So, it’s time for Sonny (Maurice Benard) to become privy to the many different angles of the SEC scandal. For example, there’s Nina’s story as opposed to Ned’s version of events. And then there’s Michael. He’s held a huge piece of this puzzle back for months. On top of that, he used the Nina tidbit to control her. How’s Sonny going to react when he finds out this little ditty?
While the dots are becoming clearer for Sonny, Tracy (Jane Elliot) is on the verge of making her own vague connections and deductions. However, she doesn’t have much skin in the whistleblowing game, except for Ned’s (Wally Kurth) part in it. So is she connecting the dots with something else in her life? Like, say, Lucy’s (Lynn Herring) scheme to take her down, which involves Scott (Kin Shriner) setting a honey trap for her and then taking all her money? Or how about Brook Lynn’s (Amanda Setton) scheme to snatch Deception away from her to give to Maxie (Kirsten Storms)?
Surprises and Support
Ava’s (Maura West) been on the business end of a lot of surprises as of late. Well, she’s about to experience one more when she gets an unexpected visitor. Is it the person who’s been sending her pictures of a dead Austin (Roger Howarth) and planted a gun in her drawer? Or someone else?
And, finally, Carly’s going through one of the toughest things anybody can experience…the loss of a parent. Bobbie (Jacklyn Zeman) is gone and Carly is distraught. Thankfully, Drew is with her and will be able to provide a source of comfort in her time of need. What will that comfort look like?
