“Fateful Turns: Baby Ace’s Destiny Unfolds – Lana Clay’s Hint Adds Layers in GH Spoilers”
General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest fans were caught off guard during the January 16 episode of the show, when Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) allowed Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) to take Baby Ace Cassadine from Port Charles.
While the father-son duo did make amends, the very idea that Spencer handed Ace off to Nik for a life on the run was surprising, to say the least.
Alas, Spencer did this to keep his baby brother safe from Esme Prince (Avery Pohl), as he knows his ex’s memories have resurfaced.
Still, fans were sad to see Ace go. GH’s MVPs this week, Jay and Joey Clay (who both play Ace on the show), have offered some stellar scenes since they arrived in Port Charles.
Fans were in awe of their performance during Tuesday’s show when Ace reached out for Nik, unprompted, and enjoyed a cuddlefest with his bio dad upon their first meeting.
As Nik left town with Ace in town, does this mean no sweet scenes with the little Cassadine charmer, moving forward?
Of course, the Clay twins have a slue of social media handles, where their mom, Lana Clay, oversees things and posts.
Ace’s emotional scenes with Spencer and Nik were posted on the twins’ X account, @theclaybros, where Lana thanked fans for all the kind comments she received about Jay and Joey’s performances this week.
She also notes that the 17-month-olds have “ACED” so many scenes, and she added, here’s to “many more to come”.
As of this writing, Jay and Joey’s status with the show remains unchanged.
With Lana’s hint on X that there’s more to come, and the twins still being a part of the cast, could this mean a plot twist with Nik and Ace on the horizon?
As it stands, Ace and Nikolas have hit the road, but that doesn’t mean that they won’t come back. It also doesn’t mean that they aren’t that far.
Nik may have told Spencer that he’s decided to take a trip outside of Port Charles, but there’s a good chance that he’s hiding out somewhere around the town or possibly even at Wyndemere.
It wouldn’t be the first time he’s done this.
Nikolas had big plans to nail Esme and get her out of the picture before she went to court, so it’s hard to believe that he’d give up on this scheme so easily and decide to take care of a baby while “on the run”; especially now that he knows Esme has her memories back.
He may simply have hunkered down somewhere in PC (or on Spoon Island) waiting for an opportunity to strike.
Not telling Spencer where he is, or that he’s so close, isn’t the end of the world for their now mended relationship, as Nik could reason that the fewer people that knew where he was, the less of a chance he and Ace could get caught.
It’s all about keeping Ace away from “Ryan Chamberlain’s (Jon Lindstrom) daughter”, right? By any means necessary!
General Hospital spoilers hint that this is definitely not the last fans will see of Ace or his dad, Nikolas, so fans need to watch this storyline closely to see what happens next.
