General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) is facing a huge decision when it comes to whether she can forgive Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) deception and let go of his betrayal.
It’d be different if this was the first time secrets had come between Michael and Willow, but that’s just not the case.
Willow kept quiet about her leukemia because she wanted to delay treatment for the sake of her baby.
Since Michael could’ve tried to talk Willow out of it, she kept her mouth shut and didn’t tell Michael until it was almost too late.
Of course, Michael also kept secrets about hiring Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) as a plant in Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) organization and plotting to put his father in prison.
Although Michael ultimately came clean about that, he still lied to Willow in the beginning.
Now Willow knows Michael withheld info about Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) snitching to the SEC – not to mention he blackmailed Nina to control her access to Willow and the kids.
Michael’s latest manipulation was clearly a tipping point for Willow, so now she’s wondering how much dishonesty her marriage can take.
Since Willow’s struggling to forgive and will continue to have doubts as this storyline moves forward, this could be an opportunity for her to move to another love interest – maybe a familiar one.
There are plenty of fans out there who were disappointed when Willow and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) split, so could this open the door to a potential reunion?
Chase and Willow’s relationship was also plagued by secrets, but that could actually work in this story’s favor.
Although Willow thought she was building something better and stronger with Michael, she’s starting to question if that’s true.
It could leave Willow wondering what would’ve happened if she’d ended up with Chase instead.
Although Chase is happy with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), there may be some small part of Chase that still longs for Willow and wonders what might have been.
Brook Lynn and Chase are planning a speedy wedding, but it could be at risk if he starts reconnecting with Willow. Temptation could be brewing depending on where GH writers want to take things.
Chase has mostly been the one doing the forgiving throughout his relationship with Brook Lynn, which has also been complicated by secrets and lies. Could it finally be Chase’s turn to screw up big time?
No romance is perfect in Port Charles, so Chase could make a blunder of his own if he hooks up with or at least kisses Willow in the near future.
Regardless, Willow and Chase had some nice chemistry once upon a time, so “Chillow” fans wouldn’t mind seeing it revisited.
