“Dollar Bill’s Dilemma: Wyatt’s ‘Moving Away’ Revelation Shakes the Foundation!”
Guess it’s a case of hello and goodbye where Wyatt Spencer is concerned.
In The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Tuesday, January 16, 2024, Wyatt told Bill he’s thinking of leaving Los Angeles.
Bold and the Beautiful Recap Highlights
In addition, Bill explained his whole “meet cute” with Poppy to Wyatt. Finn and Steffy spent some quality time gushing over each other. RJ listened to Eric talk about going home. And then Finn gave Eric some great news. Now let’s dig deeper into this episode.
Release Relief
In Finn’s office, the good doctor and Steffy gushed over each other. It was all lovey-dove-y talk, none of the toxic conversation of the past few days. Steffy reflected on the gift he had given her family — he saved Eric (refresh your memory on that moment here). In fact, Finn (Tanner Novlan) had good news in that regard: Eric (John McCook) could go home as early as tomorrow.
Meanwhile, in Eric’s hospital room, RJ (Joshua Hoffman) and Luna (Lisa Yamada) were with Eric, who expressed wanting to go home to be in his own place where he could be with Donna (Jennifer Gareis) again. RJ called Eric a medical miracle while the man himself joked about never wanting to see Finn in a medical setting ever again.
When Finn and Steffy entered Eric’s hospital room, Finn immediately dropped the great news on the patient. If all goes well, Eric could possibly go home tomorrow. This made Eric’s day.
Eric told Finn he saved his life, but Steffy countered saying it was all him. He fought to survive. Finn didn’t sugarcoat Eric’s recovery from here on out. But Eric said he knew he could do it. He’s had the entire family cheering him on. And now he’s about to have the sun on his face and feel the breeze coming up from the ocean.
Sister, Sister
At Forrester Creations, Poppy (Romy Park) stopped by to see her daughter, who wasn’t there yet. That’s when Bill (Don Diamont) called and the two set up another date at, apparently, the only restaurant in town, Deacon’s (Sean Kanan) Il Giardino. Once the phone call ended, Poppy immediately had to deal with Li (Naomi Matsuda).
Of course, Li jumped all over Poppy for Luna latching on to RJ as soon as she started working for Forrester. It was a case of “like mother, like daughter.” Next, she brought up Poppy’s phone call. Li just knew it was yet another lonely and wealthy suitor for Poppy to reel in.
Poppy didn’t appreciate Li’s judgmental attitude towards her. She didn’t appreciate being called a gold digger. Li viciously said she wouldn’t rest until they were both gone. Luna shouldn’t have anything to do with Steffy’s brother. And Poppy needed to be out of this world as well.
Later, when Luna and Poppy talked, the mom filled in her daughter on her latest fight with Li. She told her how her sister called her a gold digger. Luna couldn’t believe it, and Poppy for her part, explained that she had dated rich guys before. However, it was never about targeting. She went where her heart took her.
The two ended things with a laugh over Li’s finding out about Bill Spencer’s interest in Poppy. Her sister’s reaction would not be good. Luna confided in her mom she liked Bill being around.
Father and Son Quality Time
Wyatt (Darin Brooks) suddenly materialized at Bill’s beach house where he wanted to talk to his dad about making a change. Maybe move out of Los Angeles and get a fresh start. He even had a renter who could slide right in when he was officially out of the beach house.
Afterward, the conversation veered to all things Bill and Poppy. Bill described what it was like to meet Poppy back in the day at the music festival. Right away, Wyatt noticed she made quite an impression on him. Bill felt they created magic.
Furthermore, Wyatt theorized how Poppy’s presence might be just the thing his dad needed after he tried everything to get Katie back and nothing worked.
