Thomas Forrester could end up living in a different kind of “big house.”
We weren’t sure that The Bold and the Beautiful would ever circle back to the involvement Thomas Forrester had (or didn’t have?) with Emma Barber’s death a few years ago. Now, it appears that the show is going to shine a light on that all but forgotten story beat. It could play out a few ways, including incarceration or exoneration.
Thomas Forrester: Bad Boys, What You Gonna Do
The first is that nothing happens to Thomas (Matthew Atkinson). Did his actions lead to Emma’s death? It sure looked that way to Xander (Adain Bradley) and many others. Maybe she would have spun out of control and crashed anyway. Maybe she wouldn’t have been speeding if she weren’t trying to get away from Thomas in the first place. Either way, Thomas could walk away free as a bird when all is said and done.
Scales of Justice
Soaps, at their best, are morality plays. People do bad things and are punished one way or another. The scales of justice won’t be balanced until Thomas pays. Of course, this is scripted drama so there are other ways to make Thomas pay than putting him in an orange jumpsuit. He could lose Hope (Annika Noelle) if she believes he is responsible for Emma’s (Nia Sioux) death. For Thomas, that’s a fate worse than prison.
Drivers Education
Sure, it’d sting for Thomas to lose Hope but if he’s truly responsible for Emma’s death (and for some there’s no question that he is) maybe he should lose out on more than the woman of his dreams. Unless B&B goes down a road (pun intended) we theorized about , Thomas might have to go away to jail for his role in Emma’s death. She lost her life. Why should he be out and about when she’s six feet under?
