“The Silent Hero: Exonerating Thomas Forrester from Emma’s Death”
Thomas Forrester may go from the fashion house to the big house.
We thought for sure that Thomas Forrester had gotten away with murder on The Bold and the Beautiful. The Forrester heir chased after poor Emma in his car when she lost control of hers and died in a crash. Now, B&B is readdressing this drama, and the way we see it Thomas might have a secret savior.
Thomas Forrester: Doubting the Facts
A few people had gotten wind that Hope’s (Annika Noelle) baby girl, Beth, was truly alive. Zoe (Kiara Barnes), Xander (Adain Bradley), and Douglas (Henry Joseph Samiri) were all privy to this big secret. When Emma (Nia Sioux), a Forrester intern, discovered the truth, she hopped in her car and started to text for help. Thomas, however, followed close behind. His relentless pursuit caused her fatal crash.
Thomas stands to lose everything if he’s held accountable and convicted for Emma’s death. The police could reopen the case and prosecute the Hope For The Future designer for vehicular homicide. Thomas could go to jail and lose everything including Hope, Douglas, his career, and his freedom.
Recently, Xander returned to Los Angeles and shared what he knew with Finn (Tanner Novlan). Things don’t look good for Thomas even though he’s got the full support of his sister, Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).
There is one person, though, who could get Thomas off the hook — at least for murder. What if Emma were actually alive and being kept at a secret location? We haven’t seen much of Justin (Aaron D. Spears) lately. He could have worked with law enforcement officials and medical personnel to whisk Emma away to a private location while she recovered.
Emma could make a surprise re-appearance just as the walls are closing in on Thomas. Sure, nobody would be happy with Thomas for his role in chasing after Emma and trying to keep Hope from reuniting with her daughter. However, he wouldn’t have the cloud of being a murderer hanging over his head.
Plus, revealing Emma as being alive would close up a confusing beat that never made sense to us. When Justin kept Thomas prisoner in the basement of Spencer Publications (how did he get him down there?) in order to keep Thomas from coming forward about Bill (Don Diamont) and Liam (Scott Clifton) being innocent in Vinny’s (Joe LoCicero) death, we kept waiting for Justin to blast his captive for his niece’s death. But that never happened! Why? Perhaps because Justin knew — and still knows — that Emma is really alive! Justin wanted to keep Thomas quiet so that Bill would get out of his hair but he didn’t want to punish him for killing Emma.
A plot reveal like the one we’re suggesting isn’t out of B&B’s wheelhouse. Remember when Taylor (then Hunter Tylo) came back from the dead not once but twice? Both times she was being held as a “guest” of Prince Omar (Kabir Bedi) of Morocco. When the time was right, Taylor returned. Also, Finn (Tanner Novlan) was believed dead (though we had our doubts) after being gunned down by Sheila (Kimberlin Brown).
In reality, Li (Naomi Matsuda), Finn’s mom, had him moved in secret to a safe location. Perhaps lightning will strike a third time and B&B will reveal that Emma is indeed alive. Stay tuned to see if B&B goes down this path.
