“Finn’s Accusation Unleashes Chaos: Hope Grapples with the Unthinkable Involving Thomas!”

In addition, Poppy and Bill crushed their first date. Steffy wanted Finn to drop his concerns about Thomas. Then she filled Thomas in on Xander being back in town as RJ and Luna discussed Poppy and Bill. Now let’s dig deeper into what happened.
Past Imperfect
Thomas’s (Matthew Atkinson) past was a big point of contention with Finn (Tanner Novlan) and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) continuing to talk about Xander’s (Adain Bradley) accusations. Steffy seemed frustrated that Finn couldn’t shake what Xander told him about Emma Barber’s (Nia Sioux) death all those years ago.
At the end of the day, Steffy wanted her husband to support her brother — nothing more, nothing less. However, Finn worried about Hope (Annika Noelle, who makes a NYE Resolution for her character) more than ever. He felt that Hope needed to be protected because of her relationship with Thomas. Despite both Steffy and Hope eventually forgiving Thomas of his sins during that dark, dark time, Finn remained steadfast in his opinion that they all needed to be cautious of Thomas.
Reunited in Present
Elsewhere, RJ (Joshua Hoffman) and Luna (Lisa Yamada) focused on Poppy’s (Romy Park) present. She was on a date with Bill (Don Diamont). RJ joked about how his whole family despised Bill. And Luna acted in more of a romantic and reflective way.
Despite knowing her mom’s past, she had high hopes and expectations for this date. That is, Luna grew up without any father or father figure of note. It definitely felt like she’d be cool if Poppy and Bill’s date turned into something much, much more.
As for Poppy and Bill, it turned out she had never forgotten that night at the Golden Gate Music Festival either. Meanwhile, Bill explained why he never got in touch with her after their one, supposedly, wonderful night. He was laser-focused on building his company. In fact, he didn’t have time for anything — or anyone — at the time. He regretted not picking up the phone. For her part, Poppy seemed to understand his explanation.
They talked about a lot of things on their date, including his part in ending Sheila’s recent treachery. Also, he mentioned being impressed with Luna. That any man would be proud to call her his daughter. Poppy loved that especially since Luna’s father was never in her life. However, her facial expressions gave nothing away.
Future in Question
Thomas (sorta) joked with Hope, asking her if she was sure she didn’t want to change her mind about the proposal. But seriously, he was sorry he caught her off-guard. Hope hated disappointing Thomas, but ultimately, she had to do what she had to do. When they hugged, she had an intriguing look on her face. What did it mean?
Later, Steffy talked with Thomas, and she told him about the Xander situation. She let her brother know that Xander freaked out when he told Finn about the murder accusations. How would Thomas react to all this darkness and shadiness being stirred up once again?
Finally, Finn apparently texted Hope to come meet him at the hospital where he told her he was worried about her involvement with Thomas. They’re friends, for sure. But were they so close he could tell her that? Hope might not think so. She told him his concern was, basically, misplaced and unnecessary. Finally, Finn told her about Xander branding Thomas a murderer, which left Hope with a shocked look on her face.
