From the looks of it, Zende’s not going to take it lightly.
The powers that be at Forrester Creations on The Bold and the Beautiful have passed over Zende Forrester Dominguez two times now in favor of RJ to work on top projects. Despite his prestigious education and years of design experience, he is struggling to get the career recognition he deserves. RJ appears to have breezed in with little more than his status as a social media influencer and gained instant recognition as a designer. Doesn’t Zende have a right to be pissed off?
Zende Forrester Dominguez: Second Place
When Zende (Delon de Metz) presented his idea to Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) of finishing Eric’s final collection together, his passion and excitement bubbled over. But, things quickly turned awkward as Ridge already tasked that prime position to his son RJ (Joshua Hoffman). Not phased in the least by his own favoritism, Ridge offered Zende a consolation prize. He could assist RJ and Ridge on the collection. Zende pleaded his case and kept his disappointment in check, but clearly, this wasn’t the end of it.
Designs of His Own
There are several ways Zende could retaliate. The most obvious one would be to get in the way of RJ’s blossoming relationship with Luna (Lisa Yamada). Zende and Luna already have a good rapport. He even confides in her his deepest feelings about not being treated like a true Forrester. He takes note of every gesture Luna makes in their interacti ons, such as a simple comforting hand on his shoulder. The wheels appear to turn in Zende’s mind as he plots to change this friendship into something more.
Zende could also take his revenge a step further. If he is working with RJ on Eric’s final collection, he could interfere with RJ’s designs or the finished product and make him look inept. He could find a way to create a design disaster and then be the only one to swoop in and fix the problem. Zende sees that working hard in the background isn’t getting him the attention he feels he deserves. So be prepared for him to find any way to derail Eric’s final collection and then ultimately rescue it – and receive accolades in the process.
Will we witness Zende actually display his rage or will it all be thwarted by his own manipulative schemes? For entertainment’s sake, hopefully, a little of both.
