Catwalk Collaboration: Zende Pushes Ridge for Joint Venture on Eric’s Collection!
Zende felt finishing Eric’s vision should be a collaboration with Ridge not RJ.
Hope wanted to know how her mom was doing. Honestly, Brooke said she’s been so focused on Eric and worried about Donna and Bridget, she hasn’t dealt with her own emotions and feelings. Brooke has spent a lot of her life with Eric and it’s been incredible. She doesn’t know what she would do if — she didn’t even want to say the words. Brooke appreciated Hope’s support. If there’s any time for the family to come together, it’s right now. In fact, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and RJ (Joshua Hoffman) want to finish Eric’s line, a comment that left a little bit of a perplexing expression on Hope’s face.
The Finish Line for Eric’s Fashion Line
Apparently, work has resumed at Forrester Creations. Zende (Delon de Metz) told Luna (Lisa Yamada) he wished he had known what was going on with Eric and RJ. But, in the end, he was happy RJ and Grandad were able to pull that collection together.
Later, Luna and Carter talked about the future of Forrester Creations. She wanted to know who was going to lead the company going forward, should Eric not be able to come back. Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) assured her there weren’t any worries, the company was in good hands. Of course, Ridge and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) would run FC, but unfortunately, no one would ever see Eric’s latest designs. However, Luna filled him on Zende wanting to finish Eric’s line.
The Ridge/RJ Team-Up Reveal
Soon after talking to Luna, Zende ended up in Eric’s office where he made a pitch to Ridge about finishing Eric’s line. Because his grandad made a huge imprint on his life, he wanted to do this for him. Ridge agreed with him one hundred percent. Eric’s line must be finished. After, Zende questioned when he and Ridge could get started.
Excitedly, Zende conveyed he and Ridge can do this and RJ could help and learn from the two of them since they’re both more seasoned designers. Ridge asked his son to clear the room. Then, he broke it to Zende that they’ll find a way to include him, but Ridge and RJ are the ones finishing Eric’s collection.
Ridge insisted this decision made sense. After all, RJ is the one who helped Eric. Zende countered that while that’s true, RJ’s experience paled in comparison to his — he studied abroad, he worked on successful collections, he’s worked with Eric for years. Zende felt he owed it to Eric to work on this line and make it perfect. They can’t let Grandad down. RJ will have his time. But not this one, not with his grandad’s collection.
Finally, Luna hugged RJ, who told her about his dad asking him to collaborate on finishing Eric’s line. Luna couldn’t help but remember Zende’s thoughts on the matter.
