Donna (Jennifer Gareis), Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) feared for Eric (John McCook) at the hospital, while the rest of the family worried for the Forrester patriarch back at the mansion. Ridge shocked everybody when he told Finn (Tanner Novlan) that he wanted Eric to die peacefully instead of undergoing a risky experimental treatment.

Hope (Annika Noelle) reassured Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) that she’d be there for him as he dealt with his grandfather’s illness. Eric fought for his life as Steffy, Brooke, and Donna begged Ridge to let Eric undergo the treatment. Also, Zende (Delon De Metz), Thomas, Hope, and Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) discussed the possibility of Ridge making such a difficult decision.

Ridge stunned everyone when he ordered that Eric’s life support be removed. RJ (Joshua Hoffman), Luna (Lisa Yamada), and Poppy (Romy Park) remembered Eric fondly. Steffy, Finn, and even Brooke urged Ridge to let the experimental treatment happen. And the family said their goodbyes.
