General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Friday, December 8, reveals that Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) showed off her small and slightly misshapen tree to Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst). It wasn’t perfect, but it was perfect for them!
Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) helped put the Christmas lights on before Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) instructed Violet to make a wish, so Violet wished for this to be the best Christmas ever and felt it was already true.
After Chase and Brook Lynn announced their engagement, Violet wondered if Finn would get Aunt Elizabeth a ring, too.
Once Liz and Finn dodged the question, Violet sang a surprise song she wrote and had Chase accompany her on the guitar.
Outside Kristina Corinthos-Davis’ (Kate Mansi) apartment, TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) gave Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) a chance to back out of using Kristina as their surrogate, but she was 1,000 percent sure this felt right.
Once Molly and TJ joined Kristina inside, Molly hinted about what she was officially asking her sister to do. Kristina cut Molly off and excitedly confirmed that she’d be her surrogate, which led to a big hug.
Molly was apologetic for how she first reacted to the idea, but Kristina felt like she hadn’t fully grasped what she was offering at the time. Now that everyone was on the same page, Kristina suggested that the timing was right.
Kristina, Molly and TJ all celebrated with glasses of ginger ale since Kristina already had a bottle of bubbly with a friend earlier, so Molly seemed intrigued.
Once Kristina was alone on Friday’s GH episode, she sent Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) a text and hoped they could talk since she had big news.
On a plane back to Port Charles, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) broke down in tears over a pic of herself with Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) and admitted aloud how much she missed him.
At the Quartermaine mansion, Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) and Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) were appalled over the lack of Christmas decorations, so they selected a tree and asked for Cody Bell’s (Josh Kelly) help decking the halls.
After Tracy’s flight landed, she came rolling back in the Q manse and wasn’t pleased about the new holiday décor at all!
At Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) place, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) showed up with updates on the case since Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) wasn’t the arsonist.
Anna explained that there was another DNA match based on evidence from the crime scene, but she refused to tell Valentin who the real arsonist was since she didn’t trust him.
Valentin was sorry for not telling Anna the truth about Charlotte. After Valentin admitted he was afraid Anna would leave him, Anna suggested they’d never know because he didn’t give her a choice.
Now it was too late for them, but Anna felt it wasn’t too late for Charlotte if Valentin got her professional help.
Anna insisted that Charlotte needed counseling, but Valentin snapped that she wasn’t in a position to tell him what his daughter needed.
Although Valentin blamed Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy), Anna didn’t think Valentin was doing Charlotte any favors by making excuses.
If Charlotte had been arrested, Anna wondered if she was going to claim her deceased grandfather made her do everything. Charlotte came up with the details of her plan against Anna and needed to understand that what she did was wrong.
Valentin confirmed that Charlotte would get counseling, but he also pointed out that Anna shot Charlotte after Victor said she was dangerous. In Charlotte’s mind, Anna proved Victor was right.
Anna hoped that Valentin could get through to Charlotte and make her understand that Victor was never right about anything.
As Anna turned to leave, Valentin stopped her and said he was sorry. Anna indicated that she was sorry too and headed out.
